NodusFall Boss & Raid Compendium
Detailed tactical breakdown of all 3 bosses playable in the Gamescom demo. Part destruction, 3-stage stagger meters, and phase transitions.

Cleaver Fellstone
The introductory trial boss. Features heavy wide-arc cleaves, ground slams that launch careless players, and summons smaller arboreal adds.
Arms and root bark can be stripped with heavy weapon attacks.
3-Stage Stagger meter: Building posture opens a wide execution window for the whole team.
PHASE MECHANICS & COUNTER-TACTICS
Stamps ground to produce shockwaves; summons minor wooden creeps from terrain fissures.
Upon reaching low health, Qiongqi crashes from the sky, instantly crushing Cleaver Fellstone to bits and seamlessly transitioning the battle.

Qiongqi
The true star of the Gamescom showcase. Highly mobile aerial predator with airborne dives, claw sweeps, and a brutal phase-2 blood-curse mechanic.
Head Horn Severance: Concentrated strikes to the cranial horn break it off, changing model aesthetics and yielding rare crafting materials.
Fast recovery stagger meter: If players back off too long, the stagger bar decays rapidly.
PHASE MECHANICS & COUNTER-TACTICS
Takes flight frequently, becoming immune to melee strikes; dives with immense shockwaves.
Turns crimson red. Emits a persistent passive drain curse on the entire party. Blood orbs spawn across the arena.

Maldrake (Blight Dragon & Knight)
The ultimate boss of the demo. The fight shifts drastically from a mounted dragon carpet-bombing encounter to dual-target simultaneous combat, ending with an empowered knight.
Dragon tail severing & Knight shield shatter.
Independent stagger bars for both the dragon mount and the dismounted knight.
PHASE MECHANICS & COUNTER-TACTICS
Knight rides dragon; dragon spews triple homing explosive fireballs, mixing in deceptive delayed tail slashes (delayed attacks).
The knight dismounts! The party must simultaneously deal with a hyper-aggressive melee swordsman and a rampaging heavy dragon.
The dragon collapses. The knight executes his own mount, siphoning its remaining primordial essence into an unstoppable flaming greatsword stance.
Unreleased Mythic Beasts & Folklore Pantheon
Documented from official cinematic teasers, Shan Hai Jing folklore roots, and developer lore logs.
Nine-Tailed Fox (Fox Sovereign)
A primordial divine beast from eastern legend that once commanded illusionary mist and soul threads. Corrupted by the cosmic Dreadnodus, its nine tails now burn with soul-draining balefire, distorting spatial geometry in its lair.
Multi-tail homing spirit flame barrage, illusionary mirror clones, spatial disorientation fog, and lethal charm gaze that disrupts player iframe dodges.
Ranged classes (Beast Ranger) break tail weakpoints to shatter illusion clones; Vanguard tanks must interrupt ultimate charm channeling with divine shield bashes.
Three-Legged Golden Crow (Solar Calamity)
The ancient sun-bearing divine bird of the cosmos. Twisted into an apocalyptic terror, it manifests "Ten Suns in the Sky" heatwaves that scorch atmospheric layers, transforming tranquil wetlands into boiling magma fields.
Continuous ambient heat aura that accelerates stamina depletion, supersonic high-altitude dive bombs, ground-sweeping solar beam carpets, and solar flare nova explosions.
Infuse divine weapons with frost/water elements to counteract the burn status; coordinate grapple threads during low-altitude glide phases to sever golden wing talons.
Lili (Earth-Burrowing Calamity)
An ancient quadruped land beast bearing boar-like armored tusks and avian talons, possessing absolute mastery over subterranean geology. Under Dreadnodus corruption, it uproots tectonic plates and turns ancient ruins into lethal spike pits.
Subterranean tunnel ambushes, tectonic ground fissures that launch stone spikes, enrage charge attacks that shatter shields, and cavern collapse boulders.
Listen for audio tremor cues to time aerial thread escapes; lay heavy shock traps along tunneling paths to force the beast out of the ground into extended stagger.
